Frode Drevland
Dr. Frode Drevland is an Associate Professor at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim. He has over 20 years of experience in research, development, and teaching in construction project management. He received his MSc in 2003 and Ph.D. in 2019 in Civil and Transport Engineering from NTNU
His research focuses on Lean construction, with a particular interest in value theory. In his teaching, Dr. Drevland has long been a strong proponent of student-active teaching and was a recipient of the 2022 Norconsult Award for Excellence in Civil Engineering Education.
Since his initial participation in the IGLC conference in 2012, Dr. Drevland has remained an active and engaged community member. He has taken on various roles, including reviewer, track chair, dean of the PhD summer school, IGLC moderator, and member of the IGLC standardisation committee.
