Dr Andrew Mandile
Andrew is a Continuous Improvement leadership specialist with 20 years’ experience from several industries, in particular mining, oil & gas, and construction. He has led corporate-wide transformational and business improvement programs in top ASX organisations that have delivered significant cultural and quantifiable operational improvements.
He has a Ph.D. in Science, a diploma in frontline management, and an accredited Master Black Belt in Lean and Six Sigma.
Andrew was at the Southern Program Alliance Level Crossing Removal Program for four years, where he has led the CI program by leading the Transformation Stream as a member of the Alliance Management Team. Andrew has led the charge in ‘breaking the mould’ with traditional construction practices. The SPA Alliance had led several transformations in the wider 20+ billion-dollar Level Crossing Removal Project.
Since then, Andrew has been involved in two major Alliance tenders in both New Zealand and Australia, with one of these tenders awarded based partly on the Operational Excellence program proposal.
His most recent assignment has been advising on the deployment of leading improvement practices for a major infrastructure project in East Auckland.
